There is no know-it-all grandma.
When we are kids we believe that our parents figured life out.
Growing up we realize, they didn’t. We try to find other people who did and blame our parents for being so ignorant.
While being young, we think we will find a know-it-all grandma.
We are always searching for a mentor, a wise person, an elder, someone who can tell us what to do and what to think.
There is no common social paradigm anymore that we can follow. There is no one god. No one rule that seems to be the absolute truth. The result is confusion and the following of half baked spiritual practices and guidelines, relieved we don’t have to think about it anymore.
There is no one who has it figured out. Not even your grandma. So we keep searching.
